According to medical officials, eight Palestinians have been killed in airstrikes and clashes over the past 24 hours in the Gaza Strip, bringing the total number of victims across the territory to 73,051 since the conflict escalated.
The latest casualties come amid continued attacks in several areas, particularly in northern and central Gaza. Local hospitals report that overcrowding and shortages of medical supplies are worsening the humanitarian crisis.
More than half of the 73,051 dead are women and children, according to Gaza's Health Ministry. The agency also says thousands of people remain missing under the rubble and have not been included in the official count.
The United Nations and international humanitarian organizations continue to call for a ceasefire and unhindered access for aid into Gaza. However, negotiations have yet to yield significant progress, while living conditions for civilians grow increasingly dire due to shortages of food, clean water, and electricity.
