As part of its transport infrastructure development program, Tehran province will officially inaugurate 63 road projects this month. These works include various components such as interchanges, overpasses, and the expansion and upgrading of major thoroughfares, which are expected to help alleviate traffic pressure in the capital region.
A provincial government representative said the completion of this series of projects is part of a long-term investment strategy to modernize the road network, connect suburban areas with the city center, and facilitate the movement of people and goods.
The projects will be inaugurated in phases, starting this weekend, with the participation of local leaders and representatives from relevant authorities. Once operational, these works are expected to significantly improve transport capacity, reduce travel time, and curb traffic accidents on key routes.
