Spain: Israel Has No Evidence Against Detained Gaza Activists

Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares has stated that Israel has no evidence to support its accusations against two detained activists from the Gaza aid flotilla. The activists, a Spanish citizen and a Brazilian citizen, are accused by Israel of collaborating with the enemy during wartime.

Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares has affirmed that there is no evidence to support Israel's accusations against two activists detained from the Gaza-bound aid flotilla. In an interview on Spanish television, Albares stated: “There is no proof or any connection to what the Israeli authorities claim.”
The detained activists include Spanish citizen Saif Abu Keshek and Brazilian citizen Thiago Avila. Israel has accused them of “collaborating with the enemy during wartime”, contacting a foreign agent, and supporting a “terrorist organization”.
However, the Spanish Foreign Minister's remarks indicate that Spain finds no basis for these accusations and rejects any link between the activists and the actions Israel has attributed to them.
