The province of Hormozgan, located along the Strait of Hormuz in southern Iran, is accelerating the reconstruction of bridges previously damaged by war. This effort is part of a regional transportation infrastructure restoration program aimed at reconnecting vital routes for public welfare and economic activity.
Newly released photographs show engineers and workers on-site, reinforcing bridge piers, replacing deck surfaces, and installing safety systems. Many components have been completed, while others are still in active construction phases.
According to local authorities, the reconstruction not only restores the original state but also applies new technical standards, enhancing load-bearing capacity and structural longevity. Upon completion, the roads will meet the growing demands of residents as well as freight transport to the strategic port of Bandar Abbas.
The project is part of a broader provincial effort to modernize transportation infrastructure, contributing to socio-economic development in a region that holds significant importance in Iran's international trade.
