At a press briefing, the ministry spokesman affirmed: “The State of Qatar supports all international initiatives and efforts aimed at ending war, building peace, and ensuring security and stability for people in affected regions.”
The move comes as Qatar actively participates in peace negotiations in the Middle East, Africa, and other regions. Doha has frequently acted as a mediator, including in indirect talks related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the crisis in Afghanistan.
The statement also called on the international community to boost cooperation, support diplomatic solutions, and respect international law and UN resolutions to achieve lasting peace. Qatar pledged to continue providing humanitarian aid and promoting development in post-conflict areas.
Analysts say Qatar’s backing could give further momentum to peace efforts facing challenges amid rising tensions worldwide.
