Over the weekend, protesters in Germany and South Korea held marches to demonstrate against the Israeli government amid the escalating conflict in the Gaza Strip.
In Berlin, around 500 people gathered at the Brandenburg Gate, holding banners demanding an end to Israel's military operation and calling for the protection of Palestinian civilians. The demonstrators chanted anti-war slogans and urged the international community to take urgent action.
In Seoul, hundreds took to the streets in the city center to express solidarity with the people of Gaza. Some waved Palestinian flags and held up signs condemning Israeli airstrikes, urging governments to pressure Israel into a ceasefire and open humanitarian corridors for those in the conflict zone.
The protests come as the United Nations has repeatedly expressed concern over the humanitarian situation in Gaza. Numerous international organizations have also called for restraint and a return to negotiations to avoid further civilian casualties.
