During a recent phone call, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi discussed with Ukraine's foreign minister the issue of compensation for damages related to an attack. According to Iranian sources, Araghchi stressed that Ukraine needs to take remedial action for the consequences of this incident.
The call took place amid rising tensions between the two countries following the attack, for which Tehran holds Kyiv responsible. The Iranian foreign minister affirmed that compensation is necessary to ensure justice and deter similar actions in the future.
Ukraine has not yet officially responded to this demand. However, analysts suggest the incident could further complicate bilateral relations, which have already been strained in recent times.
