On October 15 in Bangkok, the foreign ministers of Iran and Thailand held a bilateral meeting, where the military situation in West Asia was the main topic of discussion.
The meeting took place amid rising tensions in the West Asia region, particularly the conflict between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip, as well as developments related to Iran and its neighbors.
The two sides exchanged views on diplomatic solutions to de-escalate the conflict, while emphasizing the importance of maintaining peace and regional stability. Iran's foreign minister also expressed hope that Thailand, as an important partner within ASEAN, could contribute to diplomatic efforts.
In addition, the two ministers discussed bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, and culture, with the aim of promoting relations between the two countries in the coming period.
