Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi Meets with Indian National Security Advisor

On August 15, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met with Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval in New Delhi, as part of his official visit to India.

During the talks, the two sides focused on bilateral cooperation, particularly in security and economic fields. Araghchi stressed the importance of strengthening Tehran-New Delhi ties, calling them key to regional stability.

Ajit Doval reaffirmed India's commitment to advancing cooperation with Iran, especially in maritime security and counterterrorism. They also discussed the situation in South Asia and the Middle East, and coordinated measures to ensure security and stability.

This is the first high-level meeting between the two countries amid escalating tensions in the Middle East. Araghchi's visit is expected to pave the way for further dialogue between Iran and India.
