Murakami Shines as White Sox Edge Closer to ALCS

Munetaka Murakami kept up his impressive form by helping the Chicago White Sox beat the Cleveland Guardians 4-3 on Monday, leaving the club just one win away from the American League Championship Series (ALCS).

With the result, the White Sox hold a commanding edge in the playoff series and could seal a place in the next round if they win again in the following game.

Meanwhile, Murakami — the Japanese international who has been a standout performer — remains one of the team's most closely watched figures at this decisive stage of the postseason.
