On May 25, a Skymark Airlines passenger jet made an emergency landing at Tokyo's Haneda Airport after a tire-related issue was detected. According to Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, one of the aircraft's tires burst after touchdown.
The incident occurred in the afternoon when the crew detected a tire warning signal during the flight. The aircraft was immediately diverted for an emergency landing at Haneda International Airport. Fortunately, all passengers and crew members are safe with no injuries reported.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the incident. A Haneda Airport representative confirmed that airport operations continued normally and were not significantly affected.
