An Israeli airstrike in the al-Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City killed one Palestinian and severely wounded the son of Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya, according to witnesses and local sources. Khalil al-Hayya identified the deceased as Hamza al-Sharbasi and said his son Azzam was among the critically injured. The Israeli military has not commented.
