Israel Reports Detecting Rockets Fired from Lebanon

On May 3, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced it had detected several rockets fired from Lebanese territory. Earlier, air raid sirens sounded in the Avivim area of northern Israel.

According to an IDF statement, the Israeli Air Force successfully intercepted one of the rockets. The results of interceptions of the remaining rockets are under review.

The Israeli military emphasized that the incident constitutes a violation of the ceasefire agreement by Hezbollah. Israel has not released details on damage or casualties related to the attack.
