Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said on June 18 that enemies made a serious miscalculation in seeking to bring about the collapse of Iran, amid continued escalation of regional tensions, according to Iranian news agencies.

Speaking at an event in Tehran, a senior IRGC commander said hostile forces had misjudged Iran's resilience. He asserted that Iran remains standing in the face of pressures and plots aimed at destabilizing the country.

The statement came as relations between Iran and a number of Western countries, as well as regional allies, remain tense following recent developments.
