An exhibition titled “Real Human Rights” was held at a school in the southern Iranian city of Minab, according to the country’s Foreign Ministry. The event is seen as a cultural diplomacy initiative aimed at countering Western allegations regarding Iran’s human rights situation.
Speaking at the exhibition, Iran’s Foreign Minister emphasized that human rights should be understood through each nation’s own cultural and religious perspectives, and that a single external standard should not be imposed. He cited events such as exhibitions and educational exchanges at schools like the one in Minab as vivid evidence that the Iranian government respects and promotes humanitarian values.
The exhibition displayed numerous images and documents related to social welfare, education, healthcare, and community support programs implemented by the Iranian government in recent years. Students and teachers attending the event also received explanations about these efforts.
The move comes as Iran frequently faces international criticism over its human rights record. Analysts suggest that choosing a school as the venue for the exhibition is intended to emphasize that Iran’s human rights achievements are tied to the daily lives of its people, particularly the younger generation.
A representative of Iran’s Foreign Ministry affirmed that similar activities will continue in the future to raise community awareness and enhance international dialogue on this issue.
