On October 1, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani extended condolences to the government and people of Nepal over the immense human and material losses caused by the recent flooding in the South Asian nation.
In a statement, the Iranian official expressed deep sympathy for the victims and their families, expressing confidence that the government and people of Nepal would soon overcome difficulties and recover from the disaster's aftermath.
