Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani formally rejected on October 10 the claims made by the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) concerning the Minab School. In a statement, Kanaani asserted that the CENTCOM allegations are unfounded and completely false.
Specifically, CENTCOM had previously alleged that Iran or affiliated forces were involved in an attack targeting Minab School, an educational facility in Hormozgan province, southern Iran. Tehran denied any involvement and described the statements as politically driven.
Kanaani stressed that Tehran will not hesitate to defend its sovereignty and national interests, while calling on all sides to avoid escalating tensions. The incident remains under investigation, with no official conclusion yet.
