Japan's Emperor and Empress dine with Belgian Royal Family at Ciergnon Castle

On October 2, Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako of Japan continued their official visit to Belgium with a dinner hosted by the Belgian Royal Family at Ciergnon Castle, located in the province of Namur in southern Belgium. The dinner was attended by King Philippe, Queen Mathilde, and their four children.

Ciergnon Castle is one of Belgium's most renowned royal residences, often used for family and diplomatic events. The dinner was held in a formal yet intimate atmosphere, reflecting the friendly relations between the two royal families.

The official visit of the Japanese Emperor and Empress to Belgium is scheduled to run from October 1 to October 4, including meetings with government officials and participation in cultural events. Earlier, the couple held talks with Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo and visited several historical sites.
