According to military sources, the vehicle was hit while on a patrol mission. Israel has not issued an official comment on the incident, though its defense officials have previously accused Hezbollah of using civilian and military areas in Lebanon to carry out activities against Israel.
Hezbollah, an Iran-backed group, denounced the strike as a "violation of sovereignty" and called for international intervention. The Lebanese government has not yet given an official response.
