The fire at the seaport in Tuapse, Krasnodar Krai, Russia, has been completely extinguished, according to information from the Krasnodar Krai emergency center released on May 2.
On the night of May 1, debris from a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) fell onto the seaport, igniting the blaze. No casualties were reported.
“The fire at the seaport in Tuapse has been extinguished. Firefighters had the flames under control by 9:22 a.m. Moscow time (6:22 a.m. GMT) and then fully extinguished the fire,” the emergency center's statement said.
At the scene, 143 personnel were working with 25 pieces of equipment, including forces from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
