Princess Aiko, the daughter of Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako, made an official visit to Tottori Prefecture in western Japan on Saturday, according to Kyodo News.

During the trip, the princess attended a conference on disaster prevention and stopped by an exhibition devoted to the popular manga series "Detective Conan," also known in English as "Case Closed."

The visit comes as public duties by members of Japan's imperial family continue to be carried out following a long period disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
