Iran's Parliament Speaker and the accompanying delegation returned to Tehran this morning after completing their official visit, landing at Imam Khomeini International Airport.
According to the Parliament's office, the trip aimed to boost parliamentary cooperation and exchange views on regional and international issues. The delegation held bilateral talks with parliamentary leaders and senior officials of the host country, focusing on strengthening economic, trade, and cultural ties.
Upon arrival in Tehran, the Parliament Speaker praised the outcomes, stressing that the meetings laid a new foundation for parliamentary cooperation and contributed to expanding Iran's relations with its partners. He also noted that the agreements and memorandums of understanding signed during the trip would soon be forwarded to specialized committees for effective implementation.
The visit came as Iran steps up parliamentary diplomacy to diversify its foreign relations, particularly with neighboring countries and traditional partners. Analysts believe the results of the trip help consolidate Tehran's standing on the international stage.
