Russian firefighting forces successfully contained a blaze at a livestock farm in the Moscow region, according to a statement from the regional branch of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS) early on May 1.
The fire broke out in the barn area of a cattle farm. Upon receiving the report, firefighting units quickly arrived at the scene to begin extinguishing operations.
According to MChS, the fire was detected in the early hours of the morning, and emergency personnel worked to prevent the flames from spreading. There have been no detailed reports on damages or the cause of the fire yet.
The incident is under further investigation by the authorities.
