In a recent statement, the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court affirmed that the directive message from the head of the Government serves as a guiding compass and a specific action roadmap for all officials, public servants, and employees within the court system nationwide.
The Chief Justice stressed that to effectively achieve the assigned goals and tasks, every court official and public servant must thoroughly grasp and closely follow the directive orientation, thereby proactively developing specific work plans suited to their assigned functions and duties. This aims to create visible progress across the sector, striving toward a professional, modern judiciary that best serves the people and businesses.
The Chief Justice also noted that amid the country's push for judicial reform and digital transformation, courts must continue to innovate trial procedures, apply information technology, and enhance the professional expertise and skills of judges and staff. This contributes to protecting justice, human rights, and civil rights, fostering socio-economic development, and maintaining political stability and social order and safety.
The Chief Justice additionally required units across the sector to strengthen internal inspection and supervision, promptly rectify shortcomings and deficiencies to build the image of court officials who are “both virtuous and professional,” meeting the increasingly high demands of the Party, the State, and the People.
