Shark Remains Trapped in Busan Canal for Three Weeks Despite Rescue Efforts

As of Tuesday, nearly three weeks had passed since a shark became trapped in a canal at a riverside park in Busan, a city in southeastern South Korea, despite rescue efforts by local authorities.

The shark is now regarded as the most famous of its kind in South Korea, drawing public attention as it keeps appearing in the canal area but refuses to leave.

Busan authorities have deployed measures to return the animal to the sea, but so far those efforts have not succeeded.
