Iran's National Post Company has been honored with the innovation award presented by the Asian-Pacific Postal Union (APPU), according to an official announcement from Iran.
The award recognizes initiatives and improvements in Iran's postal operations, particularly digitalization programs and service quality enhancements aimed at meeting the growing demands of users in the digital age.
A representative of Iran Post stated that this achievement results from efforts to modernize infrastructure, develop electronic postal services, expand collection and delivery networks, and apply new technologies in management and operations.
APPU is an intergovernmental organization comprising member countries in the Asia-Pacific region, operating under the auspices of the Universal Postal Union. The APPU innovation award is presented annually to honor member countries that demonstrate outstanding improvements in the postal sector.
This is not the first time Iran Post has been recognized by an international organization. Previously, the country has won multiple regional and international awards for postal service development, further solidifying the standing of Iran's postal industry in the region.
