On January 10, Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi arrived in Tehran for a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. The two sides focused on reviewing bilateral cooperation, border security, and promoting trade exchanges.
During the meeting, Minister Naqvi emphasized the importance of enhancing security coordination between the two countries, particularly along their shared border. He also expressed a desire to boost cooperation in combating smuggling and transnational crime.
For his part, Foreign Minister Araghchi affirmed Iran's commitment to its relationship with Pakistan and readiness to increase dialogue at all levels. The two sides agreed to maintain regular exchanges to advance mutual interests.
