On April 5, a solemn ceremony was held at the Ministry of National Defense headquarters to honor fallen heroes and reaffirm the entire military's determination to continue the revolutionary path charted by previous generations. Speaking at the event, a senior ministry official emphasized: "We vow to forever follow the path chosen by our leaders, ceaselessly strengthening our defense capabilities and standing ready to protect the Fatherland in all circumstances."
Accordingly, the Ministry has outlined key tasks for the coming period, including: intensifying training to enhance combat readiness; bolstering political and ideological education for officers and soldiers; and modernizing military equipment to meet the demands of national defense in the new context.
In his directive speech, the Deputy Minister underscored the importance of maintaining the Party's leadership over the military, and required subordinate units to thoroughly understand and effectively implement resolutions and directives on military and defense tasks. Attendees also observed a minute of silence to honor the immense contributions of fallen heroes, who sacrificed their lives for national liberation and defense.
The event took place amid new challenges facing the country, demanding that the armed forces continuously improve training quality, build a regular and modern military, and meet mission requirements in the new situation. Carrying forward the legacy of fallen leaders is not just a promise but a concrete action of the entire military, contributing to political stability, social order, and a solid foundation for the nation's sustainable development.
