ANA Unveils Aircraft Decorated with 'Chiikawa' Manga Characters

All Nippon Airways (ANA) on Oct. 5 unveiled an aircraft decorated with characters from the hit Japanese manga Chiikawa, according to Kyodo News.

It is the first time a domestic Japanese airline has partnered with the Chiikawa brand. The launch of the special aircraft reflects a broader trend of airlines seeking to attract passengers through tie-ups with popular pop-culture brands.

Details on the aircraft type, the routes it will serve and the timing of its entry into service were not disclosed in the initial announcement.
