India have added Bhuvneshwar Kumar to their squad for the fifth and deciding Twenty20 International (T20I) against West Indies.
The national cricket board said on Friday that the 36-year-old seamer has been brought in as cover for Arshdeep Singh, who is still recovering from a shoulder injury.
Arshdeep hurt his bowling shoulder during the fourth T20I in Hyderabad and left the field in pain. He was struck while batting, at a point when West Indies levelled the five-match series at 2-2.
A decision on whether Arshdeep can play in Saturday's decider in Bengaluru will be made before the start of play.
For Bhuvneshwar, it is his first return to India's T20I squad in nearly four years.
The seamer has also been named in India's squad for the T20I series in New Zealand, which begins on 22 October.
India have twice taken the lead in the series, but two centuries from West Indies captain Shai Hope helped the visitors pull level on each occasion.
The second match of the series also marked West Indies' record successful chase in a T20I.
The hosts won the preceding One-Day International (ODI) series 2-1, despite Hope's century in the third match helping West Indies complete a record chase.
